التعريف بزهرة مسك الليل
تنتمي نبتة زهرة مسك الليل إلى العائلة الباذنجانية، وتُعرف أيضًا بالياسمين الليلي وملكة الليل؛ وتُعتبر جميع تسمياتها مناسبةً لها، إذ تتفتح أزهارها في الليل وتغلق في النهار، وتبعث رائحة عطرية جميلة تصل لمسافات بعيدة. وزهور مسك الليل أنبوبية ممدودة وتنتج أزهارًا بيضاء صغيرة على شكل نجمة، تنمو عادة في مجموعات. وتُصنف هذه النبتة كنبات استوائي أو شبه استوائي، ولا يمكنها تحمل درجات الحرارة المنخفضة، ويمكن زراعتها في الهواء الطلق وكذلك في الداخل، وتتفتح أزهارها حتى أربع مرات في السنة، وبعد ذلك تنتج الثمار البيضاء المليئة بالبذور؛ وإذا نمت كنبات منزلي ولم يتم تلقيح أزهارها فإنها لا تستطيع إنتاج الثمار.
الموطن الأصلي لزهرة مسك الليل
Tropical America and the West Indies are the original home of the nightshade plant, and its cultivation is widespread in tropical regions of the world, including Hawaii, the Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Western Samoa, Tonga and New Zealand.
How to grow nightshade plants
- Prepare small pots 10 cm high, and fill them with suitable soil.
- Place two seeds in each small bowl, gently press down, then spray with water.

أولاً:- أسمدة تحفز نمو نبات زهرة مسك الليل
لا تتطلب زهرة مسك الليل الكثير من العناية فهي لا تحتاج إلى سماد على الإطلاق. وفي حال الرغبة بإضافة العناصر الغذائية يفضل تسميدها مرة واحدة فقط في الربيع باستخدام سماد أزهار عادي، أو بإذابة نصف ملعقة صغيرة من سماد 15-15-15 في جالون من الماء وصب الخليط على قاعدة النبات بين أواخر الربيع وأواخر الخريف؛ ويحتوي هذا السماد على مزيج متوازن من النيتروجين والفوسفور والبوتاسيوم.
ثانياً:- الأمراض التي قد تصيب نبات زهرة مسك الليل وعلاجها
أ. مرض بقعة الأوراق وصدأ الأوراق
يتسبب هذا المرض الفطري في تشويه الأوراق وتساقطها. عند ملاحظة وجود بقع دائرية على أوراق النبات يكون قد فات الأوان لمعالجته. وللوقاية يجب وضع مبيد الفطريات كحماية عند ظهور براعم الأوراق لأول مرة، ثم مرة أخرى بعد أسبوع إلى أسبوعين. وينتج عن فطر صدأ الأوراق بقايا على شكل مسحوق على الجانب السفلي من الأوراق يتراوح لونها من الأصفر والبني وحتى الأرجواني، ويتسبب في تشوه وتساقط الأوراق. يجب إزالة أي أوراق مصابة وأي بقايا للأوراق المتساقطة عند قاعدة النبات.
ب. سوس العنكبوت

It is preferable to leave some flowers on the branches until they dry. The nightshade plant produces small fruits called white berries that carry seeds inside. When they mature and become dark in color, it is preferable to wear rubber gloves when harvesting to protect the hands from the toxicity of the flowers and berries. Then collect the dry berries and put them in a paper bag, and shake the bag to open the dry berries and remove the seeds in them.
